So a while back, I ordered a Cactus V2s wireless remote flash trigger & two receivers from Midwest Photo Exchange. They were back-ordered. No big deal.
No big deal, that is, before Bank of America got itself on my “List of Companies I Really Have No Reason to Continue Using.”

Just upgraded wordpress to version 2.5.1 Minor point upgrade, but probably a good idea to keep current. Oddly, now, the “Save” and “publish” buttons in the “write post” are randomly flashing. Odd, but only a little bit annoying because they’re off to the side.
I think it’s probably just from an odd combination of the versions of Firefox/Windows/Wordpress that I’m using.
Still not quite ready to do a full post about my accident last weekend. Working up to it … I promise a full post, with pictures, once I’ve internalized the whole thing.

[VLR (Very Long Rant) warning]
Perhaps my visceral attitude is a response to built-up angst from my job — I’m in a customer service job and I have to deal with crap from customers all the time and I can’t lose my cool with them. So maybe when I’m the customer, I feel I can let loose a little.
Or maybe it’s just because unsolicited sales calls/email are just so darned annoying.

I was playing around on my GoDaddy account, to see what capabilities their “free-with-domain-name” hosting account provides.
While setting it up, I had to enter a password, of course. GoDaddy has a “strength meter” to let you know how strong your password is. I used the password generator on my Ironkey to generate the following password:
Yt4)erw”o7y[H{
Of course, once I decided to blog about this, I generated a new password, and will never use this one as a real password.
Anyway, GoDaddy’s password strength meter told me that this is a “weak” password.
Uhhh … yeeeaahh. Right.
