The spam:

Hello,

I wish to crave your indulgence in assisting me in receiving a large sum
of money on my behalf.
If You are Interested, kindly send your response to my personal email
:jinrenqing_10@yahoo.com.cn

Thank you and i look forward to a good business relationship with you.

Sincerely,
Jin Renqing

My response:

Sure, I’ll help you get the money. But first, I’ll need you to provide me with an army of ninjas. And a couple large robots, with missiles, of course.

Oh, and I’ll need a secret island headquarters, and a submarine.

And a lot of computers. Also, Jessica Alba.

Then, we can get your money no problem.

When can I expect to receive my ninja army and secret island lair?

Thank you for your prompt reply,
Robert Hill

I can’t wait until I have my very own Ninja Army! How freaking cool will that be???

Just updated to Photoshop elements 6.0, because a) my elements 4.0 CD is scratched, preventing re-install, and b) because I can’t afford the full-fledged Photoshop CS 3.

I don’t like it. I haven’t actually started using it yet, but the interface is dark grey. It’s probably so it will look more post-modern, like Vista or OSX, but it just comes off as … very grey.

Got my old hard drive installed as an external now.

Got XAMPP up and running on my ironkey.

Got wordpress running in XAMPP.

Got the wordpress theme for my redesign working.

Only the new design looks like crap. It looked okay in testing, but when I pulled in a backup of my blog to test the design with real-world data, well … let’s just say that my CSS has a few bugs in it.

Should be okay in a week, give or take, and I’ll be up with my new design.
