So I spent a very large amount of time today geotagging my photos over on flickr.

I discovered that I find it amusing placing the images on the map *exactly* where I took them. Like, on the different parts of the campground, in one instance. That was fun.

It’s also kind of neat to be able to assosciate visual memories with kinesthetic ones (e.g., “Let’s see, I went up the 15, turned left, and I could see a railroad track to my right when I faced north … I must have been … right … THERE!”). I was surprised at how much detail I was able to recall for some of these things. And also at how much I wasn’t.

I also did my first “Orton Effect” photo today. I wasn’t able to do it quite the way I wanted to, but I think it still came out okay.

Oh, and at some point, my big toe on my left foot twisted under the toe next to it and … OW. cramp. That was not so much fun.
